The purpose of our boot camps is to improve the dancing of our members and promote ballroom dancing. Making close friends along the way is a great benefit!
Our Cha Cha boot camp was April 4, 2015 at Dance Tonight Atlanta. The instructor was Rachel Jones. We had about 40 people attend along with 5 board members.
Our Waltz Boot Camp was September 27, 2014. It was taught by Jorge Morales. There were 27 attendees and they had a great time.
Our Bolero Boot Camp was May 3, 2014. There were about 20 participants which were amazingly well matched. It was wonderful. Thank you Robert Frank B.
Our Tango Boot Camp on January 25, 2014 with Wayne Zwick was a success with about 40 people attending.
Our Foxtrot Boot Camp was June 8, 2013 with Josh Jones was a great success with about 46 people attending. We invited Josh Jones back for an ADVANCED FIGURE FOXTROT BOOT CAMP for previous attendees on August 10, 2013.
Our Rumba Boot Camp was January 26, 2013 with Jorge Morales. Over 50 people attended.
43 people attended our Waltz Boot Camp on October 13, 2012 taught by Virginia Coker and it was wonderful. Many of the people who attended showed real improvement in their dance by the end of the five hours of lessons.
Our Cha Cha Boot Camp on June 2, 2012 -- Wow! Six hours of Cha Cha Cha with 32 students and 7 instructors. Rachel Jones was our main instructor. That was about a four to one teacher:student ratio that felt like six hours of private lessons. Thank you all for making this inaugural dance camp a success.
